Once you realize that the human body is sacred, the vehicle for your soul, you can start to treat it as it deserves: living a healthy lifestyle, eating a balanced diet, getting plenty of exercise, resting when you need to. You can start to move towards a more connected bodily existence. Tai chi is a wonderful tool to help you get started on the road to a healthier lifestyle. It reduces stress levels, which are at the root of many common ailments; it increases stamina; and it gently increases flexibility, without requiring you to tie yourself in knots! All exercises are done standing, and are very easy to follow. Qigong is very similar to tai chi. The only difference is that tai chi emulates martial art movements while qigong follows nature: animals, flowers, etc. Depending on your time preferences you can join a tai chi class in Dawlish or a qigong class or both, if you are really up for improving your health.
For all our sacred human bodies, tai chi and qigong classes are held in a beautiful venue in the popular Manor house in Dawlish.
